Train Transfers To and From Langenhagen Airport

One of the transfer options when arriving to or departing from Hannover-Langenhagen Airport is to take the metro train between Hannover main train station in central Hannover, Hannover Hauptbahnhof and the airport.

At Hannover Airport, the metro station, Flughafen S-bahn Station, is located on the basement level of Terminal C with both elevators and escalators going between the upper levels and the metro station level.

The trains start running around 3:30-4:00 am and stop running around 1:00-1:30 am and the journey takes 18 minutes.

Tickets can be purchased in the vending machines available at the station and they cost approximately €4 for a single ticket to central Hannover. If you are planning more train trips on the same day, a day ticket may be a better choice at the price of approximately €7-8.

Make sure you purchase a ticket valid for two zones.
