Flight Arrivals at Langenhagen Airport

When you arrive at Hannover-Langenhagen Airport you will arrive at one of the three terminals, A, B or C. Once you have collected your luggage in the baggage claim area you will enter the land-side where all three terminals are interconnected.

WiFi at Hannover Airport

All three terminals are fitted with free WiFi for free use up to 3 hours, after that Telekom charges will apply. Simply join "FreeWifi@HAJ" and you are good to go.

Prayer rooms at Hannover Airport

There is a Protestant and Catholic chapel located on arrivals level in Terminal A, just to the left before the interconnection pass way to Terminal B. It is open 24/7 and a prayer is held there on Tuesdays between 12.00-12.10.

A separate Muslim prayer room is located on the same level and in the same location, but on the other side of Terminal B. This room is also open 24/7.

ATMs

ATMs can be found in all three land-side terminal areas on arrivals level as well as in the arrivals areas of Terminals B and C.

Baby Changing Rooms

There are special baby changing rooms situated on land side in Terminals B and C, on arrivals level, as well as on air side in Terminal C.

PRM Meeting Points

There is a designated meeting point for persons with disability in each of the terminals, on arrivals level and on the land-side. Please contact your airline for more information about PRM assistance.

Smoking at Hannover Airport

There is no smoking inside when arriving at Hannover Airport. Smoking is only allowed outside in designated areas.

Airport Service Center

If you need help at the airport the Airport Service Center is located in Terminal B on arrivals level and it is open round the clock.

Tax-free

A tax-free shop is located on the arrivals level in Terminal B, next to the Airport Service Center.

Baggage storage

Baggage storage is available in Terminal B on arrivals level, next to the Airport Service Center.

Currency Exchange

A currency exchange office can be found in Terminal B.

Transfers at Hannover Airport

Rental car – Unless you have been otherwise informed by your chosen rental car company, all rental car desks at Hannover Airport are located at the Car Rental Center between Terminals A and B, on arrivals level.

Taxi – The two official Hannover airport taxi companies can be found right outside the terminal exits on arrivals level. The journey to central Hannover is around 25 minutes with a fare of around 25-30€ depending on time of day, traffic and your exact destination.

Train – The subway station, S-bahn, is located on basement level in Hannover Airport, Terminal C and can be reached through lifts and escalators. The train ride to Hannover Main Station takes 18 minutes and costs around €4 for a single adult ticket.

Bus – There are no buses going from the airport to Hannover, but bus line 470 to Langenhagen Zentrum stops in close proximity to Terminal C.

Parking – If you have your car parked in one of Hannover airport’s 14,000 parking spaces you can pay your fee either in the machines in the parking garage you are parked in or at the Carpark desk located on arrivals level in Terminal B, next to the Airport Service Center. This is also where you pick up your keys and pay your fee if you have used the parking valet service.
