Hannover International Airport Parking

Hannover-Langenhagen Airport has a total of 14,000 parking spaces divided into several different parking lots with different options depending on how long you want to stay parked. 

The airport has its own motorway exit and it is well signed and easy to find. It is also possible to take the smaller, public roads there.

Means of Payment

You can either pay your fee at the pay machines located in the parking areas or in the Airport Service Center on Arrivals level in Terminal B. The pay machines accept both credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Diners Club and American Express) as well as cash (coins from 50 cents and up and bills from €5 up to €100).

Kiss & Fly Zones

The Kiss & Fly zones are located right outside Terminals A and B and allow for up to 3 minutes of dropping off or picking up passengers. This is free of charge.

There are also parking garages, P1-P3, located near the terminal buildings where the first 30 minutes of parking are also free of charge, in case you want a little bit more time than 3 minutes for drop-off or pick-up.

Short-term Parking, up to 60 minutes

The short-term parking lots are located right in front of Terminals A and B and allow you to remain parked for up to 60 minutes. The fee for the first 30 minute is €2, for 45 minutes €3 and for 60 minutes it is €4. 

Short-term Parking, up to 6 hours

There are 3 parking garages, P1-P3, located right across from Terminals A, B and C and 3 more, P4-P6, located next to Terminal D. Here you can park for up to 6 hours. Parking garage P7 is located a lit bit further away with a shuttle transferring passengers in between the terminals and the parking garage.

The different garages offer different kinds of parking divided into these options:

• P1 – Comfort or Exclusive
• P2-P3 – Normal
• P4-P6 – Economy
• P7 – Spar

The fees are the same for all options except for P1-P3 that are free of charge for the first 30 minutes, and P1 exclusive are slightly more expensive.

6 hours: €12

Fees for P1 exclusive are:

1 hour: €8
2 hours: €11
3 hours: €14
6 hours: €17

Parking for longer than 6 hours automatically becomes 24 hours and long-term parking.

Long-term parking

All parking garages offer long-term parking and it includes yet another option, P10 which is an economy plus option. 

P7 has free shuttle bus service from April through October.

P10 is only open from April through October and for parking for 7 days or more. There is a free shuttle bus for transfer between the parking garage and the terminals.

Valet Parking

If you wish to use the valet parking service you simply arrive in front of your departure terminal and park the car in the short-stay zone, hand over the keys at the Check-in and the airport valet service will park your garage in P1 for an additional fee of €5. 

When you return to Hannover-Langenhagen Airport go to the Airport Service Center (arrivals level in Terminal B) that is open 24/7 where you pay your parking fees and collect your keys and you may collect your car in P1.
